 STORY, SCREENPLAY AND DIALOGUES:
The story of ‘Main Tera Hero’ is written by Tushar Hiranandani and it is totally idiotic and unbelievable.
It could have worked in the late 90’s or in the early 2000’s,
when David Dhawan and Govinda combination gave hits like ‘Coolie No. 1’, ‘Deewana Mastana’ and ‘Hero No. 1’.
But, in today’s era, where subject near to reality works and is mostly liked by the audiences,
this film is too far from reality.
Same goes for the screenplay and the dialogues of the film.
It seems like writers believed in writing a story, where people should leave brains at home.
It’s just a crap. Also every scene in the screenplay follows the other without any break.
This unable the audiences to understand or involve themselves in one particular scene.
Seenu’s character has been written keeping Govinda in mind and here is
the defeat of the writers because it’s almost impossible for Varun Dhawan to fit himself in Govinda’s place,
as Govinda’s comic timing is unmatchable even today.
 PERFORMANCES:
Varun Dhawan has been asked by his director father to copy Govinda, where he fails miserably.
In the scenes, where he performs in his own style, is ok.
He doesn’t have screen presence. Ileana D'Cruz is disappointing.
She didn’t even look good in the film.
Nargis Fakhri looks beautiful and adds perfect glamour required.
Anupam Kher is irritating. Saurabh Shukla, Manoj Pahwa and Rajpal Yadav are just ok.
Arunoday Singh is a good actor, but he doesn’t get much scope.
DIRECTION, CINEMATOGRAPHY AND EDITING:    David Dhawan is a good director and he has given many blockbusters in the past especially with Govinda.
But, he has to come out from the hangover of those movies,
as the new generation loves to watch comedies with logic and David Dhawan fails here.
Sanjay F Gupta’s cinematography is first rate and Nitin Rokade’s editing is very sharp.
ACTION, BACKGROUND SCORE AND MUSIC:    Mahendra Varma’s action is strictly ok and Sandeep Shirodkar’s background score is fine.
Two songs ‘Besharmi Ki Height’ and ‘Palat- Tera Hero Idhar Hai’ are quite famous.
Sajid-Wajid has done a decent job with the music.
CHOREOGRAPHY,
LOCATIONS AND PRODUCTION VALUE:Remo D’Souza and Bosco-Caesar’s choreography is very good.
Locations are fine and production value is high.
